Tuesday 18 May at the digital Welwyn Drama Festival brings another chance to see a modern twist on Jekyll & Hyde from Hertford’s Company of Players. In The Strange Case of Henry Jekyll and Edward Hyde, by Laura Ilinca, a group of friends is struggling to come to terms with the disappearance of their friend, Henry, and the appearance of Edward.
The second short play, Nightmare on Downing Street, by Rodney Pearson (Spiral Curtain), is a surreal, fly-on-the-wall look at the domestic life of the Prime Minister as the UK emerges from its first lockdown.
The evening will finish with live comments from our adjudicator, Walker Ewart. If you fancy joining us, please purchase a ticket, just £4, from TicketSource to receive your online meeting link. Entertainment starts at 7.30pm.
